Hello,
I hope I will be able to post to this mailing list. Otherwise I will just
wait for the next meeting.
In the general way, ATLAS production running in UK was smoother than
everywere else on LCG (that's why we ended up with the second position on
the "best producer chart", just after CERN.)
I can only congratulate again (as I did in August) everybody for such
smooth running, and thanks them for standing with us even if we managed to
filled up the Storage Elements of 3 sites (Birmingham, Manchester and
Sheffield) due to the lack of a proper cleaning mechanism in our
production system.
Like Ian, I can only tell:

The main problem as far as we are concerned is to get more UK sites
included into ATLAS production, as it means harassing 3 different people
(1 for the registration in ATLAS BDII, 2 for the deployment of the ATLAS
software) and these people had no back up. I envy LHCB where the
resources were proactively searched for by Ricardo.
But this is just one of the many ATLAS-related problems we met during DC2
phase 1.
Cheers,
Frederic
