I wondered about that too Karen so I did a web search for Nancy Rarus. If she is misquoted as saying "I can't understand why anybody would want to bring a disabled child into the world." then she's miss - quoted in an awful lot of articles! I've pasted the links to 5 of the 19 articles the quote appears in.
