The bookshop in Blackrock that Aoife is referring to is actually spelled
Carraig, which might make a difference if you are trying to locate it.
The local bookshop in Dalkey village is called The Exchange.
Another excellent source for used and rare books is Naughton Booksellers, 8
Marine Terrace in Dun Laoghaire. Their shop is open only by appointment,
but they use ABEbooks on the net for selling if you are looking for
anything specific.
For new books, Books Upstairs in College Green in Dublin has specialized in
books by or relating to women since opening, although they also have a good
general selection.
As you probably know, the major shops for new books in Dublin city centre
are Hodges Figgis, Waterstones and Eason's.
One of the best bookshops in the country for literary works, new or used,
is Kenny's in Galway City.
