MoneyScience Financial Intelligence Network (www.moneyscience.org) is proud
to present a new open-access resource for academics and practitioners
working in finance and economics, physics, applied mathematics and computing.
MoneyScience aims to produce an evolving map of the field of quantitative
finance and related disciplines by building the most comprehensive single
source for information on the web.
Besides offering daily news updates and feeds, discussion forums, an
extensive web directory and opportunities to promote your research group,
conference or business, MoneyScience is also the home of the MoneyScience
Wiki, a collaborative project published under a GNU Free Documentation
License and aimed at addressing outstanding issues in the relationships
between the various communities involved in the field.
We also host the MoneyScience WebJournal, a new interdisciplinary
community-edited publication which aims to include timely, engaging comment
and analysis, book reviews, features and research surveys. We are
experimenting with a new model for article review and are currently seeking
applications to join our self-organising editorial community. See the
website for further details.
MoneyScience is keen to involve as broad a spectrum of users as possible and
if you would like to support our work, we would be extremely grateful if you
could link to us from your own website and forward this mail to any
colleagues you feel might be interested.
MoneyScience is urgently seeking sponsorship and financial support from
businesses or organisations who would like to be associated with this
exciting and innovative project. We offer several highly competitive
packages all of which ensure that your organisation receives a high profile
on the MoneyScience website for a minimum of 1 year.
MoneyScience is owned and managed by Jacob Bettany, operating from his home
in Bristol in the UK.
We would value any comments and responses to the work we have done so far
and you should feel free to contact us either through the website or by
emailing: [log in to unmask]
Thank you very much for your time.
