Junior Research Groups)
The Max Planck Society invites applications from outstanding young
scientists in all fields of
research pursued by the Max Planck Society for group leader positions (W2;
approximately
equivalent to associate professor without tenure). Successful candidates
will be offered a
five-year contract and will be associated with a Max Planck Institute in
one of the three Sections
of the Max Planck Society:
Biology and Medicine Chemistry,
Physics and Technology Cultural,
Social and Human Sciences or Legal Studies
The position includes a five-year grant (research positions, budget,
investments), and guaranteed
access to the institute¹s infrastructure. Successful applicants will have
demonstrated the
ability to perform top international research. The Max Planck Society is
committed to equal

of publications, copies of three publications, a one-page summary of
scientific achievements, a
two-page research plan, and a list of up to three Max Planck Institutes in
order of preference
where the applicant wishes to work.
