Hi,
I have been watching the maillist for a while.
I am looking for an alternative to NMRView or Felix but have
not tried CCPN software suites yet.
With the new relase several questions about CCPN come to my mind:
1. You don't upgrade the version number for the new release?
It was version b.17 for Analysis for a while and it is still
b.17 for the new release?
2. You have Python and Java releases, will one of them predominate
or the two will be developed in parallel?
3. The idea of data-centered model is interesting, and also probably
the trend of recent software development. I notice a recent
paper on Chem Rev.(2004) v.104 p.3541 by Montelione and co-workers,
talking about a little bit about CCPN, but it seems they are
adopting another way of SPINS database for the integration problem.
So I was wondering how these two will compete or complement with
each other.
Sorry if any of these questions seem offensive.
