Dear All,
I am coming towards the end of the interview section of a research study into
the psychological and social problems faced by late-deafened people, and need
a few more volunteers to complete this stage. I would much appreciate your
help in bringing our online survey to the attention of any of your contacts
who are late-deafened with a profound hearing loss.
The aim of the research is to identify those psychosocial problems and to
find ways of helping individuals and their families overcome them, and to
better inform professionals who work with deafened people.
The research is a joint project between the LINK Centre for Deafened People
(UK) and Greenwich University, London, with whom I am employed.
The survey can be accessed through the charity's website (near foot of page):
http://www.linkcentre.org/
or directly at:
http://www.linkcentre.org/questionnaire/
All details given will remain confidential and no names, or email or postal
addresses are required. UK respondents may, though, leave contact details if
they wish to take part in the interview process. Alternatively, volunteers may
contact me directly by email or at LINK for a paper copy of the
questionnaire.
Thank you in advance,
Paul Ashton
