I have just been told by Mary Colley, Chair of DANDA, the following, in which has caused me great concerns that....
Larry Arnold, NAS Councillor(and I want you to answer this yourself Larry), does not believe that neurodiverse adults with ASD's, especially AS Adults and those with other Spld's should not be entitled to Health and Social Care community care assessments of their needs, under the NHS and Community Care Act 1990 and other relevant Health and Community Care legislation and neurodiverse adults should not have 'careplans' and have their basic human and civil rights to independent living and 'not' be provided with any social, health and welfare service-provisions from the health and social service public authorities and disability welfare benefits from the Department of Work and Pensions.
Larry, is this what you have said publicly, especially for those of 'us' from grassroots lower-socio economic backgrounds who are 'dependant' on these welfare services to meet our basic needs to independent living.
I want to hear it from the horses mouth and hear Larry Arnold give a public statement to all the neurodiverse community.
Kind-Regards
Colin Revell
