Subject: Input for today and GridPP11

Hi,
I attach a document from Steve Lloyd for discussion today. It is a
summary of the rough experiment shares we expected on our fabric when the
GridPP2 bid was being constructed. As things may have changed, and as Steve
has been interpreting some of our input (I tended to put large, medium and
small rather than percentages, which may be more honest but is hard to sum
up over the resources!), we should check we are happy with this. As the
preamble says, this is not a commitment - we have mechanisms for that in our
MOU and the Tier-2/GridPP MOU, but it will help for planning.

On a different matter, I am trying to get a poster made for NorthGrid for
next week. Please can you send details of what you a) have on the Grid at
present b) anticipate in the future (by default I will take this from the
spreadsheet previously circulated that was used in the manpower carve-up).
Can I also have any nice pictures of the kit you may have (we should have at
least one each. I would also appreciate an update on the current network
bandwidth to your sites. Be assures, this is all to show us in a good light.
If we have such numbers, I will try to give some digest of the NorthGrid
contribution to the LCG per experiment (jobs run etc etc); Grid submissions
to BaBarGrid and SAMGrid would also be useful.
I am sure much of the above will have gone to Alessandra for her talk!

   Best wishes,
       Roger
