I don't think it makes a lot of sense to have "temporary" configurations
for SEs, in general they are supposed to provide long-term storage for
files. SRM has a concept of volatile files, but at the moment all files
are assumed to be permanent. Filenames (SURLs) are stored in catalogues
which don't know anything about you having wiped the SE disk or moved
the storage area somewhere else, so the reference stays there and jobs may
be scheduled on the basis of files which no longer exist. And that's even
aside from what happens if the only copy of someone's file is on your SE!
