I too have yet to find a fully accessible conference centre. In Sheffield the efforts of disabled people to make sure that newbuild hotels and conference facilities adequately meet access needs have made little difference.
While I agree that BCODP would make excellent consultants, I think this is a mainstream issue and should be funded through mainstream sources. It seems many still need to wake up and realise that disabled people are consumers and that accessible venues are good business.
