I am currently working on a project looking at how we manage leaflets &
posters here in Leeds.
I was hoping that people may be able to help me by letting me know how
their authorities approach leaflet & poster management.
The kinds of things I'd like to know include:
Does you authority have an offical policy on leaflets & posters? If so,
could you summarise the main points.
Have you gone down the route of stocking less paper based info and using
the Internet etc to satisfy borrower enquiries? If so, do you charge people
for print outs? Are the customers happy with print outs rather than
Do you have specific display methods ie posters can only go on notice
boards, have only a file of mastercopies rather than hundreds of leaflets
on display etc.
Are there certain types of leaflets that you no longer stock or ones that
you definitely keep?
If you can help with this, or have any other comments to make about leaflet
& poster management, I would be very grateful.
I will of course summarise for the list if I get enough response.
