Wow. That was fast. :-)
Last week the Starlink programmer's put most of the starlink software into
a new source code repository and updated the build system to the more
modern Gnu style.
GAIA, KAPPA, PHOTOM, PISA, EXTRACTOR all work on Mac.
CONVERT is in and works on linux and we are currently building it on the
Mac. Assuming no unforseen porting problems it should be built early next
week.
If you are interested in beta testing the new Mac Starlink port we can
provide you with a disk image either at the end of next week or early the
following week. "beta testing" implies that there may be some unforseen
problems but the quicker we find them the quicker they will be fixed.
We are searching for volunteers.
If you use one of the less popular starlink packages (other than the ones
listed above and convert), let me know and I'll make sure the disk image
includes it. [specx would be in that category]. I assume you'd like SURF?
