Can you send email to stardev from your cvs.starlink account? That's
what should be happening when you commit.

fails, that's what's happening when you commit stuff.

Are you sure that's an up-to-date top-level makefile? It looks a bit
old, unless you've cropped the top of the output. Try updating it and
doing "./config.status Makefile" in the top level, to get a more recent
one.

No, they're not important. I'm not completely sure where they come
from, but they're because makeinfo isn't installed in buildsupport/bin
(I think). Next time I'm feeling particularly keen I might have a go
at suppressing or fixing them.
