Job Summary
1) Manage the development and co-ordination of E-Learning resources on
identified projects in the School of Education
2) Provide advice, training and support to academic, academic-related and
support staff in web technology and the creation of effective electronic
teaching and learning materials and resources
3) Work with other e-learning specialists and course designers to plan and
develop VLE support for academic programmes and other identified projects
4) Monitor, evaluate, develop and promote the School E-Learning Strategy,
operational objectives and the use of technology for teaching and learning
5) Develop the technical expertise of School's E-Learning team and keep up-
to-date with current developments in the field through regular
consultation with stakeholders within the University and the wider HE
community
6) Develop and ensure quality in School internet and intranet sites
