Perhaps I missed the discussion on BaP equivalency, could someone please
inform me as to why it is no good.
Regards,

Subject: PAH's & Risk Assessment
I have a consultant who is struggling to find authoritative toxicity data
on PAH's other than benzo(a)pyrene. He has drawn reference to CLR 7 which
states that it is inappropriate to use other countries quantitative
criteria and risk assessment models. He has suggested using toxicity
equivalent factors based on benzo(a)pyrene but this has been rejected
following the expert advice received from this forum. Can someone suggest
where the consultant can find authoritative criteria for PAH's other than B
(a)P?
Thanks in anticipation....
Tim
