medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
It is NOT too late to propose sessions for Leeds 2005. The deadline for
that is 30. September (31. August, though, for papers not part of proposed
sessions). For further information, see:
http://www.leeds.ac.uk/imi/imc/imc2005/imc2005CallFP.htm
Just as at Kalamazoo, so too at Leeds it is possible to have roundtable
sessions with more than three brief communications followed by
discussion. At Leeds, such sessions are usually scheduled during the
evening and last no more than an hour. In this instance, that format might
be more successful than the standard one of a ninety-minute session
featuring three 20-minute papers followed by discussion. But to pull it
off would still require the services of an organiser.
Best,
John Dillon
PS: Proposals or inquiries regarding presentations in the Latin Writing
strand at the 2005 Leeds congress are also still very welcome. Send me an
e-mail with your idea and I'll do what I can to assist.
