The nature of the relationship between practice, research and
creativity is a complex subject that is generating debate both
nationally and at the local level of individual higher education
institutions, particularly in relation to the RAE and AHRB. This
symposium will bring together representatives of some of the key roles
and bodies within the field of craft and design research to explore
issues that are crucial to the development of a strong and sustainable
research culture in this area.
