Subject: PhD studentships

INNOGEN, the ESRC Centre for Social and Economic Research
on Innovation in Genomics, is pleased to announce four ESRC PhD
studentships to research the following topics:
"The changing sociality of life sciences: from molecular biology to
genomics"
"Locational dynamics of the UK genomics industry"
"Firm growth dynamics during different 'knowledge regimes' in the
pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector"
"HIV/Aids and health partnerships in sub-Saharan Africa"
The studentships pay fees and maintenance costs for UK students,
and fees-only for EU students. The closing date for applications is
22 June 2004. Further information about the research projects, and
about application procedures, is available on the INNOGEN
