CALL FOR PAPERS
The National Disability Authority (NDA) works to promote and secure the
rights of people with disabilities in Ireland and is dedicated to the
creation of a society in which people with disabilities enjoy equality and
full participation. This year, the annual NDA research conference will
examine the role of disability research in creating positive change in the
lives of people with disabilities. Abstracts are now invited for the
presentation of recent research findings that provide evidence for policy
change or service improvement. In line with the NDA’s core values, a
social model of disability should inform research findings presented at
the conference. Of particular interest will be research which:
- Identifies shortcomings in policy or services for people with
disabilities
- Recognises good practice in policy or services for people with
disabilities
- Identifies and /or quantifies the needs of people with
disabilities
If you propose to use empirical data in your paper, your abstract must
include a clear outline of the data and its sources. Abstracts of a
maximum of 150 words should be submitted to:
