Actually as a somewhat disinterested party Cosenor's House in Abingdon
sounds ideal for what you want (except that RAL people would probably want
to go home to sleep each night!). It's got networking (and possibly has or
could have WiFi), very nice lawns, a river - and no travelling.
Andy Lawrence was even quite complimentary about the Cosenor's food in its
latest catering regime quite recently as well!
