Dear all,
Other than the research reason (which is not a legal reason but rather
an institution dependent one and which has not, and has never been, a
reason for retention at Newcastle), is there any other legal or
regulatory reason to maintain examination marks beyond the JISC
recommendation of 'current academic year plus 6' (Limitation Act 1980)
My own view is no, there is no other reason and short of a documented
University reason to keep them longer, am arguing for the JISC
recommendation.
Agree/disagree? - As usual, any view welcome.
Best,
Gerry.
