Thanks for this Frances. I had some contact with BACS a while ago when I was
interviewed by a researcher whose name I can't remember. I have a copy of your
report and there is a reference to something I wrote in it - unless you are
talking about another report.
It would be excellent to cooperate more. We'd be quite happy to support the
development of your newsletter. Is it aimed at members only? I wonder if it
might be possible to explore ways in which we could distribute it to ALL
members teaching Chinese as we do with Mado (Japan Foundation) and the CILT
Community Languages Bulletin. We'd have to explore reciprocal arrangments but
it would enable us to support members with  a Chinese newletter which at the
moment would not be financially viable.

Sorry not to get back to you sooner. Ofsted took over my life and now I am
teaching in Sweden.
