ResearchWare, developers of HyperRESEARCH, is gearing up to begin
offering regular workshops in both Los Angeles and Boston. We're not
ready to launch the program yet, but we may be able to offer you an
individual introduction to HyperRESEARCH at our LA location.

If you haven't already, you may wish to visit some websites that
contain information on the software packages available and advice on
choosing the right package for you.
For a good article on the points to consider when choosing a software
package, see http://www.quarc.de/tipstricks_e.html
For a basic overview of the most popular QDA software packages, see
http://www.textanalysis.info/qualitative.htm
For a fairly comprehensive list of QDA software available (with links
to the developers' websites), try
http://www.qualitativeresearch.uga.edu/QualPage/qda.html
After doing a little research to narrow down the field, you may want to
choose 2 or 3 programs as your lead candidates. Download and install
their demonstration versions, read the documentation that comes with it
(the HyperRESEARCH trial version includes the complete user manual,
tutorials, and sample files in the "Documentation" folder installed
within the HyperRESEARCH folder), and play around with the software a
bit.
Then choose the one that best fits the approach you plan to take in
analyzing your data.
Good luck in your search!
