Advancing Quality of Life in a Turbulent World
ISQOLS Conference in Philadelphia, USA
November 10-14, 2004
For the Families and Quality of Life track (SP 41) we are looking for
contributions to the
- paper sessions
- workshops
- round tables
- poster sessions
of the aforementioned conference. Of interest are all topics relating to
any aspect of the quality of life (QoL) of traditional and non-traditional
families and family-like communities, such as e.g.
- theoretical dimensions and corresponding social indicators of the QoL of
families;
- trends and changes in the QoL of families;
- changing gender roles and the QoL of families;
- QoL at different stages of the collective life course of families;
- individual and collective strategies to enhance the QoL of families;
- the contributions of family life to the individual QoL;
- non-traditional families (homosexual couples, mono-parental families,
etc.) and QoL;
- sources of and threats to the QoL of families in a turbulent world;
- etc.
If you are interested in making a contribution, please, send us before
April 15, 2004 a 100-150 words-abstract by using the WORD-form enclosed
with this call for papers. Your proposal, which will be reviewed by May 15,
2004, should be sent to all four email-addresses mentioned at the end of
the attached C.f.P.-form.
