MMIT Conference: PORTALS, PORTALS EVERYWHERE
1st July 2004
The Royal Institute of International Affairs, London
Library portals offer users more integrated and more immediate access to
electronic resources – but will be part of a wider picture of integration.
The morning session of the conference will be an opportunity to discuss
librarians’ practical experience of selection, implementation and use of
commercial library portals. In the afternoon session speakers will explore
the wider connections – to publisher and web portals, and to institutional
portals, content management systems, learning environments.
