The CAQDAS Networking Project, based at the University of Surrey (UK) is in
its 5th period of funding by the ESRC. The management of this discussion
list, the CAQDAS web site, its advice line, and its free seminars and
presentations underpin the resources which are freely available(virtually!)
via the project. In addition, its program of hands on workshops seeks to
offer practical introductory and then intermediate project-specific support
to users. The project is widening its coverage of software all the time, and
in future hopes to include in its programme of events and software
overviews, QDAminer, Transana (free video s/w) Answr (free s/w). Already
included: ATLAS.ti 5. Nvivo, N6, MAXqda, QUALRUS, HyperRESEARCH (MAC and PC
software).
Recently held (FREE) comparative overview events open to the research
community have been held at
RGU-Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Southampton and Bristol. Future events
