Dear colleagues,
For those who don't know this major resource, the Archive
of European Integration (AEI) http://aei.pitt.edu/
is an electronic repository and archive for research
materials on the topic of European integration and
unification. The AEI collects two types of
materials: certain types of independently-produced research
materials (complementing the contents of the European
Research Papers Archive) and official European
Community/European Union documents. Abstracts are given of
each document and the full text is available in PDF or HTML
format. Work is still in progress, both in adding new
documents (685 are currently available) and in adding to
the search capabilities so that simultaneous searching
of the AEI and the ERPA will be possible.
The task of uploading these documents has been undertaken
by Phil Wilkin of the University of Pittsburgh and Barbara
Sloan from the European Commission Offices in Washington
DC, for whose work I suspect we will be very grateful.
Best wishes
Patrick Overy
