CHANGING THE CULTURE WITH ICT
a major conference at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday 9th March
hosted by the two Scottish JISC Regional Support Centres.
************************************************************************

Cost: Up to 4 FREE places are available for each college and university
in Scotland. (If you work outwith Scottish further or higher education,
we would be pleased to add your name to our Standby List, to be
allocated on a first come first served basis in due course).

Description: Change is a constant in Scotland's colleges and
universities today and coping with it a key challenge for managers.
Sparking and shaping much of this change is the revolution in
Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

'Changing the Culture with ICT' will examine this process of change and
the demand it generates for open communication between computer systems.
Conference sessions will:
. explore how change in further and higher education has been affected
by ICT
. examine the benefits of effective information exchange between systems
(interoperability)
. show how the JISC's SWANI Programme is achieving these benefits

Delegates: the conference is suitable for:
. principals, deputes, senior decision-makers and practitioners
