Dear Sibylle,
If you want to exchange your analysis with colleagues who use winMAX or its
successor MAXqda, you probably will have to work with the same program.
There are quite a number of MAX users around who work on a MAC using a
emulation software like Virtual Pc. If you want to get in contact with
people who do so, please contact me!
Regards
Anne

I am a Macintosh-User and try to decide which CDA-Tool I should choose for
the
qualitative analysis of my interview transcripts. Since I had serious
problems with my
Apple G4 Powerbook during the last year, I would prefer not to run a
PC-Emulator on my
machine. But most programs seem to be designed for PC.
So far, I have tried a trialversion of HyperReseach. My major concern,
beside the poor
facilities for the development of category hierachies and the price: will I
be able, for
example, to exchange my analysis (or at least my categories) with collegues
who work
on other programs such as WinMAX?
Do you know any freeware you could recommand me?
