Trevor,
I had a similar problem when using a different program. To correct this, I
reinstalled the software directly to the alternative drive. This
installation allowed for a shortcut from my desktop so I could easily click
into the program. The "G: drive" (in your case) would become the root
directory for the program alleviating the constant clicking to get back to
it. I hope this helps.
