My client is a leading financial service company and they are looking for
an interaction designer to join their team. Based in the Midlands (Notts)
UK, your responsibilities include:
Identifying customer experience requirements and design drivers for
development of digital channels, to provide navigational structures and
storyboards for new business initiatives, to produce mock-ups for all new
projects when working within established creative style guidelines, to
produce dialogue and content specifications to meet the customer
experience solutions and ensure actual copy and content meets requirements
and is signed off. You must also be an authority on customer experience
and usability standards for digital channels and must understand the
interaction between digital and human channels and ensure appropriate,
consistent customer experience is designed for all channels. You will also
develop rapid prototypes for usability testing to ensure rapid and
iterative improvements.
Essential experience
Experience of capturing customer experience requirements and design
drivers - essential
Information Architecture experience for developing user-centred websites -
essential
Experience working in customer facing environments - essential
Experience of working with teams in all business areas - essential
Experience of designing and developing leading edge software products and
services - preferred
Key skills and knowledge
General project management skills
A broad knowledge base including an understanding of business priorities,
IT infrastructure, content management systems, customer behaviour and
interaction requirements
Knowledge of best design practices across new media channels
Knowledge of best design practices for developing software
Demonstrable track record in delivering results*Undergraduate or
postgraduate degree in HCI, software ergonomics or similar.
Start date: ASAP
Salary: to £35,000
