medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Listmembers,
could anyone help me with the work called Matentetrade(m)?
It is referred by Hugh of St. Victor (Didascalicon III, 2; see Taylor
I, note 55) and Liber Hermetis de VI rerum principiis (ed. Silverstein):
someone proved that it is just a ghost from some
Carolingian commentary (on Boethius or Martianus?) understood later as
an existing work -- but all my bibliographcal references are lost,
together with my memories.
With many thanks in advance,
(Mr) Csaba Nemeth
CEU, Budapest
