Artifact, the guide to Internet resources in the Arts and Creative Industries has added a new
feature, Limelight, to its site http://www.artifact.ac.uk
Limelight will showcase a different topic each week, featuring individual artists, subjects of
topical and/or temporal relevance, new and noteworthy web sites, or forthcoming events, exhibitions
and festivals. Each feature will provide information, links to related sites within the Artifact
database and suggestions for related Artifact searches.
The first issue of Limelight can be found at http://www.artifact.ac.uk/limelight.php or can be
linked to straight from the Artifact homepage above.
As this first issue is a beta version, it's a special bumper edition featuring 4 well-known artists
who were born in the month of January - George Balanchine, choreographer;
Philip Glass, composer; Franz Schubert, composer; and Cindy Sherman, photographer.
