I may have missed something here, but I don't recall seeing any mention
of the effect of the latest dictates from this government that graves
are to be reused.
Are there provisions for protecting churchyard archaeology, surely
digging up and going down several more feet will further damage any
remaining evidence in the ground.
Or does it only apply to 'modern' burial areas?
Will we see all the long closed graveyards being resurrected and given a
new lease of life, with JCBs digging down to the new depths?
