Salary up to £37629 plus £2134 London Weighting (pay award pending)
The Bartlett School of Graduate Studies, UCL, is seeking to appoint a
senior lecturer/lecturer in Architectural Morphology and Theory from
September 2004. The successful candidate will join the Space group with
its programme of MSc courses, doctoral and funded research (5* flagged
at the last RAE). The post holder will play a significant role in
teaching and course development on the MSc in Advanced Architectural
Studies. The successful applicant will have an established international
research track record associated with the ‘space syntax’ field, and will
be prepared to build on this by attracting funded research and a cohort
of doctoral students. They will have experience of doctoral supervision
and ideally have acted as an examiner at this level. They should have a
track record in postgraduate teaching and will have developed and run
courses at Master’s level in the past. Ideally, the successful candidate
will also be an innovator in teaching methods. The post holder will be
expected to participate in the wider responsibilities of academic life
at departmental, faculty and college level. Salary will be within the
Lecturer B/Senior Lecturer range to a maximum of £37629 plus £2,134
London Allowance per annum (pay award pending), according to
qualifications and experience.
