Dear all,
We have recently added two new documents to the Plagiarism Advisory Service
website which we hope you will find useful.
The first is the report of research carried out by Julia Banwell on behalf
of the service into Chinese and South East Asian students' perceptions of
plagiarism. Those of you who were able to attend our conference in June will
perhaps remember the presentation Julia made at the conference on her
research. The project build upon earlier research with Greek students and
contributes to the growing body of UK literature on the topic of plagiarism
with particular reference to international students attitudes and concerns.

The second addition is also on a topic that conference delegates may
remember, as it is the result of work carried out by Mike Reddy, and was
referred to by Mike during his presentation at the conference. The Ephedrine
Case Study paper added to our website provides users with details of a
module that Mike introduced with his students to help them understand the
importance of source evaluation and citation.

We have also posted in the events section, details of a forthcoming
conference in California for those of you dreaming of warmer climes.
As always we endeavour to provide relevant resources for our users, so all
feedback is welcome.
Regards
Fiona
