Scottish Coal still exist but as an opencast operator and developer
(windfarms, landfill, general developments etc). They are based at the
Castlebridge site, where the entire surface installation is complete. They
use the yard for plant storage and use many of the other buildings for
service and repair.
Solsgirth has pretty much been cleared.
Longannet (drift mouth) remains intact (at least what can be seen from the
Kincardine Bridge - transfer belts etc to Scottish Power). I am not sure
about Castlehill (it was intact the last time I passed, perhaps take a run
past on my way home from work and confirm).
