The National Gallery is pleased to announce the launch of two new websites
aimed at primary schools across the UK.
Both sites have been made possible by the DCMS Strategic Commissioning
funds.

'Take One Picture' was established by the National Gallery, London, to
promote the importance of the visual arts as a resource to inspire creative
and challenging teaching across the primary curriculum. The 'Take One
Picture' website has been enhanced and expanded to increase the scheme's
reach, to inspire teachers nationwide and to provide all the resources
required for getting involved.

This website has been developed as part of the 'Take One Picture: North,
East, South, West' project - a nationwide partnership involving the National
Gallery, London, the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne and the City
Museum and Art Gallery, Bristol. 'Take One Picture: North, East, South,
West' was developed to increase the number of primary schools able to
benefit from using local museum and gallery resources.
