Archival and Manuscript Heritage Project Officer
(Salary £21,027 - £30,413 including London Allowance)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Technical and Liaison Officer to join a small team working on a highly-focused, user-centered project, to provide access for lifelong learners to archives, manuscripts and manuscript studies through a specially dedicated web interface. The project is funded from the former Electronic Access to Resources in Libraries (EARL) Consortium for Public Library Networking and the LASER Foundation. This is a fixed-term appointment for 14 months, and secondments to this post would be welcomed.
Together with at least one year's experience of working in a library and of developing and maintaining a website, you will be able to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and present complex technical issues and concepts in a clear manner. Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work as part of a team are essential.
