The JISC is currently recruiting four Programme Managers- details follow. Please bring these posts to the attention of interested colleagues.
The twelve month maternity cover position specifically relates to the Digital Preservation and Shared Services programme areas. The application process for this position will be undertaken separately to that of the other positions referred to above. JISC will consider secondment arrangements for this post. Four JISC ICT Programme Management positions available:
The deadline for applications is 20th September 2004.
Appointments will be made on the ALC 3 salary scale, currently £32,686 to £38,206 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
JISC, a dynamic UK-wide educational organisation, seeks enthusiastic and motivated individuals to manage ICT programmes in the following areas: Portals and Resource Discovery; Repositories and Interoperability; Virtual Research Environments; and Digital Preservation and Shared Services. The Programme Managers will be responsible for programme coordination, monitoring and support, the organisation of events, programme dissemination and evaluation. Working closely with the managers of other programmes and the JISC Sub-Committee members is an essential part of the role. Applicants should be motivated and flexible with knowledge of current developments in the use of ICT in further and higher education.
There are four Programme Manager positions available. Three are for three years duration and the other is to cover maternity leave for one year.
The posts will be based within the London Office of the JISC at King’s College London and awarded on the ALC 3 salary scale.
