I find it hard to believe that members of the this list could possibly
think that I could send round a hoax e-mail; indeed some people on the
list even mistrusted the Sun article on Hamsters
I am emotionally shattered by such allegations and am undergoing
drink-therapy to regain my confidence
However, what has brought me round is the enthusiasm of those who went
out and bought The Sun - that is real dedication to the cause of data
protection
Yours etc

Without reservation I withdraw my scurrilous implication that Chris
Pounder may have made the story up.
My real point was that data protection law is not a bar to investigation
of crime. It's up to a court to decide whether evidence has been
unfairly obtained.
