Subject: Call For Papers- Handbook of Research on Mobile Business
Dear Potential Author/s: (Friend / Colleague / Practitioner / Thinker):
You will be glad to note that I have recently been asked to edit "Handbook of Research in Mobile Business: Technical, Methodological and Social Perspective" with IDEA group publishing (IGP), Hershey, PA, USA (www.idea-group.com). We now live in the age of communication, fuelled by "mobility". Mobile technologies and business applications are one of the most fascinating and rewarding topics of this age. That is the reason for my own enthusiasm and total commitment to this handbook project. I envisage this handbook to be one of the most comprehensive references in the arena of mobile business and applications.
Friend, let me take this opportunity to personally invite you to contribute a chapter for this edited book on any topic of interest to you that is related to "Mobility". You may either wish to write the entire chapter from start or, alternatively, expand your previously published papers into a chapter form. You can also write on the practical work / case studies that you have done in the industry. Finally, you may wish to expand your current robust thinking into "how to" of Mobility - delving into the future of mobility.
A detailed "call for chapters" is available from the following URL:

My own previous personal experience of writing books and book chapters with IDEA Group Publishing www.idea-group.com has been excellent! In addition to being a highly reputed USA based publisher, they support the authors/editors very well and promote the book globally. Therefore, I sincerely believe this is an excellent opportunity for you to make your thoughts known internationally through a reputable print medium. Such publication is bound to be invaluable to you in research and/or your practical industrial work.
Should this invitation be of interest to you, I will be most grateful if you kindly submit a 2 page proposal outlining your thoughts on the possible chapter to me by November, 1st, 2004, or earlier. It should contain (a) proposed title of your chapter (b) abstract of the paper (c) relevance to the book and (d) your short profile and contact details. A short template for the same is attached in Word format. After a brief internal review, you will be notified acceptance of your chapter. The complete chapter is due by March, 1st, 2005.
I am quite convinced that the readers of this book will find your chapter invaluable! And I do look forward to a positive response from you.
I will also appreciate if you would be so kind as to circulate this invitation amongst friends and colleagues to enable widest possible contributions on this fascinating topic of Mobility. This request is made to irrespective of your own authoring in this work.
Best regards,
Dr. Bhuvan Unhelkar, MBA, PhD, FACS
