Subject: 4th European Conference on e-Government - Call for Papers
The 4th European Conference on e-Government (ECEG 2004) will be run this
year as a European Union conference as part of the Irish Government's
Presidency of the EU.
The conference will be run at Trinity College Dublin on June 17-18. The
clsoing date for abstract submissions is 13 February and a full call for
papers can be found at
http://www.academic-conferences.org/eceg2004/eceg2004-call-papers.htm
Authors of papers which are selected will receive a personal invitation from
the Irish Government to present at the
conference .
It has taken a long time to confirm the date and the venue with all the
parties concerned and thus the lead time for abstract submission is short,
but we are hoping that we will, as usual, have a fine range of academic
papers. In addition to academics, we are expecting to have representatives
at the conference from all 25 countries which will then be part of the EU.
We are also expecting 4 Ministers of State and a number of EU Commissioners
to be present. This should be a very interesting networking opportunity for
all of us.
Apologies for any cross postings and if you have any other queries about the
conference, please get in touch with Professor Dan Remenyi at Trinity
College at [log in to unmask]
