When searching for users to enrol in a user in a course, either from the control panel or sysadmin, the program should also display (greyed out and flagged) the names of all users who fit the search criteria, but who are already enrolled.
If you were having problems enrolling someone, you would then have some indication know as to why.
Currently, to verify if the reason that you can't add a user is because they have already been added, you have to go out of the screen and do a List/Modify Users.
Several lecturers who already had serious misgivings about using Blackboard have said they consider the current listing behaviour to be deeply counterintuitive.

hi Mark,
Two more:
- allow for wildcard characters in search fields
- either proper treatment of special characters in filenames or
rejection of such files at upload time
Is there a cut-off date for these suggestions?
Kind regards,
Herta
