I work in Argentina on social simulation and labor market, and after reading Holland's approach to complex adaptative systems, I was wondering if anyone had work on the subject, identifying elements such as building blocks, mechanisms and properties of the labor force that lead to further discoveries... I have the hypothesis that labor force in a country or city over a period of time can be treated as a complex adaptative system, as it is a 'mass' of self-reproductive agent that adapt dynamically as a whole using micro-rules to economic waves and changes.
Kind regards, PDG>
