There is an opening for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the:
UMCP/NIST Co-Laboratory on NanoManufacturing and Metrology
Our group is a joint research program between the University of Maryland
and the National Institute of Standards and Technology and we have
laboratories at both locations. The open position is for someone with a
background in aerosols, or mass spectrometry, to help advance our
understanding of aerosol mass spectrometry and conduct experiments on gas-
aerosol chemistry and kinetics, related to environmental aerosols and
nanomanufactured nanoparticles.
The position requires someone who is both interested in doing independent
research, as well as supervising graduate students in a diverse research
environment.
The initial position is for one year, renewable upon mutual interest.
Exceptional candidates may be hired as an Assistant Research Scientist
position, which makes them eligible to act as a co-principle investigator
on research grants.
