I am also finding the discussion on cultural understanding very helpful.

I am working with the fpa to develop a practical handbook on refugees,
asylum seekers and sexual health in the UK. We aim to provide and overview
of the issues, examples of interesting projects and good practice, and
information on useful organisations, resources etc. The message of listening
to the individual will be central. (the work is also being done in
partnership with the Centre for HIV and Sexual Health).
