There are two in North Devon. One was a small, 7/14inch, all-in-door engine
at Gourt, part of the Molland Copper Mine, and as such is not really
relevant to your investigations. The other was a 26/50 at the Knap Down
Mine, Combe Martin; where part of the bob wall plus the back wall and
integral chimney survive. See Claughton in The Industrial Archaeology of
Exmoor, ed. M. Atkinson, (Tiverton:Exmoor Books, 1997), pp. 61-65 and
86-92, for details including sketch plans.
