I use a mini-disc. Sony and sharp are both decent qual brands. there is
far less 'noise' than a cassette due to lack of moving parts so the
recording quality tends to be higher. Takes a little adjustment in
operating. Another key advantage is that you can download direct to a
computer and into audio software.

Dear All,
I was wondering if anyone has used a digital Dictaphone for recording
research interviews, as I was considering using one as a backup. If
anyone has experience using one could you recommend a brand and model
(or not) as the case may be.
